Our Radio Specialties

Perceptual or Brand Study: A telephone-based quantitative study designed specifically for a radio group to examine all aspects of its issues including programming, marketing, and branding itself. Each study is unique to the group and is based very specifically on the needs of the station and the market.

Auditorium Music Testing:
A precisely recruited group of listeners or potential listeners is assembled, based on demographics, to test music by listening to 500 hooks of eligible songs. The participants test the music based on familiarity, fatigue and likeness.

Callout Music Testing:
Similar to the Auditorium test but the listener tests an average of 30 hooks over the telephone. This test is also based on familiarity, fatigue, and likeness and is typically done on a bi-weekly basis.

Focus Groups:
Small, demographically chosen groups who discuss the specific radio market with a moderator. A key advantage is that these groups help identify market issues quickly. Participants give clients ideas and they answer questions about marketing, programming, and branding of a particular station.

Sales Studies:  A telephone-based study designed to help advertisers target station listeners "top of mind" recall about specific businesses in the market.

It's a basic rule for any successful company..."Give the customer what they want."  There are two ways you can accomplish this.  Guesswork.  Or asking.  All research comes down to that basic element...asking what the customer thinks and wants.
