Bob Raleigh

Prior to founding Raleigh Media Group, Bob Raleigh programmed the nationally syndicated "Lia Show" with over 180 affiliates nationwide and the syndicated "GAC Bill Cody Classic Country Weekend" with over 300 affiliates for the Jones Radio Networks.  During this time, "The Lia Show" relaunched a Saturday night version called "Weekends With Lia" as well as capturing the 2005 CMA Award for National Broadcast Personality Of The Year. 

For seven years, Bob was Corporate Director of Country Programming for Cumulus Media.  He joined the company shortly after it's inception and was responsible for folding in the new acquistions into the company's programming strategy.  For over seven years, he oversaw the strategy, programming and research for 45+ Country stations.  For two of those years, Bob was also in charge of the company's Oldies stations as well.  For six years, Bob developed and conducted the corporate programming seminars which grew from a half day session to two full days of programming, promotions and marketing sessions.  During Bob's tenure at Cumulus, the Country platform consistently was one of the best performing format within the company...ratings period after ratings period.

Bob was also at Stratford Research as a radio researcher, consultant and strategist...skills he took with him to Cumulus Media.  While at Stratford, he performed perceptual, music and focus group studies around the country.

Bob also served on the Board of Directors for the CMA and was President-Elect for the Columbia Leads Club, an organization consisting of business owners and managers from all fields of business.
